Cherubim
Artist name: Shadur Yehudit
Two cherubim stand on columns atop the Gates of Prayer, displaying the Tablets of the Law. They have the winged body of a lion, pointed feet and tail, the head of a bird and are facing away from each other. Below them are the word “Mizrach” and the Candelabrum flanked by deer.
