On the left: The chief butler and the chief baker sleep while sitting. Their dreams are illustrated above them: Above the chief butler a vine with three branches is blossoming. The chief butler squeezes grapes into a chalice. Above the chief baker there are three bread baskets. Three birds eat from them. Joseph’s head observes the dreams from above the third basket. The jail’s wall surrounds them.
On the right: Joseph stands before the seated chief butler and the chief baker and interprets their dreams in jail.
