San Paolo Bible (fol. 32v): Frontispiece to Leviticus

In the upper register, the Levites erect the Tabernacle. In the middle register, on the left, Moses consecrates Aaron and his sons; on the right, Aaron stands with his sons as Moses reaches up toward the gabled Ark of the Covenant, above which hangs a chandelier and below which stands a menorah. In the lower register, the red heifer is sacrificed under the supervision of Moses and Aaron.
