Above right, Queen Esther grasps King Ahasuerus’ scepter, extended toward her by the King from his throne. Above left, Haman blows a horn while leading Mordecai, riding on the King’s horse. In the center, the King’s horsemen ride out to save the Jews as the news spreads in Shushan. Left center, Haman is hanged on a gallows with a pulley, while his ten sons wait to be executed.
