Three scenes from the story of Ruth: In the panel on the right, Ruth holds Naomi’s arm and pledges her undying loyalty. In the center panel, Ruth kneels at Boaz’s feet in thanks for his kindness to her. She clutches reaped grain in her hands as they both stand in Boaz’s field amid other reapers. In the panel on the left, Naomi cradles Ruth’s newborn son Obed and promises to be his caretaker as Ruth looks on.
